Motorcycle Prices to increase in October

Judging by the previous track record of Motorcycle companies in Pakistan, its expected that the companies are going to revise motorcycle prices. Recently a circular of Hi Speed Motorcycles is floating around internet in which the company is increasing its prices by 1,000 rupees. Though 1000 is not much but this consistence increase in price has taken chinese 70cc above 50 thousand rupees mark.

The trend of increasing prices is blamed upon increasing dollar prices and import duties by the motorcycle manufacturers. These manufacturers are usually good sized companies which are often seen experimenting with their product. Companies like Hi speed and Road Prince have launched some good motorcycles in the past but sadly couldn’t maintain those, that too because of the difficulties in local market.

This increasing trend of price hike is now very common among manufacturers these days, that needs to stop.
