Yamalube 20w50 vs Yamalube 10w40 Semi Synthetic engine oil

Which engine oil is better

Yamalube 20w50 is a mineral based engine oil which is sold and recommend by Yamaha Motor Pakistan for its Ybr series. Recently Yamalube Plus is launched by them in 10w40 grade and semi synthetic construction.

Yamalube 20w50:
This is a mineral based oil and not particularly popular in Yamaha users. This oil is said to be low in quality and gets less milage as compared to company claimed 3000 kms.

Yamalube 10w40:
This is a semi synthetic engine oil and gets 10w40 grade which is much better and recommend for smother engine , smooth gear shifts and clutch action . This engine oil gets benefits of both mineral and synthetic oils as it is blend of both.

Verdict:
Yamalube 20w50 is best suited for motorcycles which are already using it . New Yamalube Plus is better for new machines.
