Indian motorcyclists are more lucky than us because they have a lot of motorcycles available to play with. Recently another motorcycle joined the race and its TVS Raider 125.A commuter class motorcycle which can put Pakistani motorcycle industry to shame. Not only on looks, specs and features but price as well.
TVS is a globally renowned company and also the manufacturers of famous BMW GS310 series. The same engine is used by TVS in one of their sports bike. The motorcycle in question is a 125cc but it looks like a bigger machine and has specs to match the looks as well. The Raider 125 is available with a 11.2hp motor and it comes with 5speed gear box. The bike weighs over 123kgs though.
The looks are of a bigger machine, with alloys and mono shock rear suspension the TVS Raider really stands out from the other commuter segment 125cc motorcycles. If its compared in Pakistan, no locally available motorcycle can match it in looks , specs and performance. The base model starts from 88 thousand Indian rupees and top end variant costs 93,000 rupees.
All in all ,main reason TVS are able to launch it in such an amazing price is that they have developed and manufactured it locally which has helped them in maintaining its price. We wonder when Pakistani automobile manufacturers will do this!
