How to lease a motorcycle in Pakistan
Leasing or financing any vehicle is very common across the globe but in Pakistan people try to pay in full at the first place. As inflation has increased to 20% almost and it is expected to increase more many people are shifting towards leasing or financing options to purchase motorcycles. Not much information is available about motorcycle leasing in Pakistan so we worked on it and found the legal way of owning a motorcycle through leasing facility.
Suppose you are willing to own a Suzuki GS150 or Suzuki GD110s, you will walk up to the showroom sales executive and state your business. The showroom staff will than ask for booking amount and you will book motorcycle with minimum 10,000 rupees. After that the paper work will begin.
The paper work includes Cnic copies, 2 photographs and electricity bill of yours, If you’re living on rental property you will need o have rent agreement and police verification as well. If you’re doing job than you are required to prove your salary slips and in case of business you are required to show your business card and bank statement for 6 months. The showroom also requires cheque of per month installment as extra surety and safety.
The showroom also requires 2 guarantor who will give guarantee that all installments will be on time. The showroom requires all of the mentioned above documents with in 10 days of advance booking for timely delivery of motorcycle. The remaining advance amount has to be paid before getting the motorcycle. This entire process usually takes 1 month approximately.
