Is Honda Really Decreasing Motorcycle Prices In Pakistan?
A rumor about Atlas Honda lowering the price of their bikes has been spreading on social media for the past several days. The PKR’s good performance versus the USD and recent price reductions by Kia and MG Motors are cited as the causes of this news. According to the stated news, the Honda CD70 and Honda CG 125 have much lower prices. Is Honda really decreasing motorcycle prices in Pakistan? Let’s find out.
According to the research, the cost of Honda CG 125s has decreased by Rs. 38,500, while the cost of a normal 125 has decreased by Rs. 33,500. The most popular bike, the Honda CD70, allegedly experienced a reduction of Rs. 22,000 in the same report, which is significant given the bikes’ present cost.

We got in touch with Atlas Honda representatives and its dealerships to verify the story. The company representative didn’t respond to us, but a significant Honda motorcycle dealer did. He denied the reports saying that someone had been circulating false information in the market over the previous few days. People should visit the Atlas Honda website for the most up-to-date prices, he continued, as the price is not likely to drop any time soon.

People should therefore be patient because prices are not decreasing, at least not for motorcycles. It would also come as a huge surprise if the bike manufacturers announced a price cut because it is practically unheard of in Pakistan. Prices typically increase and rarely decrease.
A two-wheeler like the CD70 today costs Rs. 157,900, which is an incredible price indeed. Bikes have also been thought of as a mode of transportation for the middle-class portion of society, but repeated price increases, without any justification by the firms, have placed them out of their reach. We sincerely hope that these businesses would reduce their prices so that more people may afford these allegedly inexpensive rides.
