Yamaha YB125Z DX or Honda CB125F
The question of which motorcycle is the best buy is always on the minds of new motorcycle buyers, and in today’s article, we will attempt to answer that question. It should be noted that both motorcycles in question are 125cc premium consumer motorcycles manufactured by Japanese companies.
When it comes to the market, Honda’s CB125F was introduced a couple of years ago, just as Yamaha’s YBRs were beginning to garner positive attention for themselves. This prompted Honda to introduce a premium 125 cc machine that can compete with Yamaha on a level playing field. At the same time, Yamaha was developing the YB125Z DX, which featured a new suspension upgrade (when compared to the regular YB125Z) and the simplest gear shift pattern available.
Consumers were enthusiastic about the YB125Z DX because they were looking for a more subtle yet elegant shift pattern from Yamaha after becoming accustomed to an all-forward shift pattern on other motorcycles. Yamaha’s YB125Z DX was initially available in only two colours: red and black. This year, however, the company has added Metallic Blue to the lineup. The motorcycle is currently available for purchase for 216,500 rupees and is in high demand.
The Honda CB125F, on the other hand, shares its suspension with the CB150F and is powered by the same 5-speed engine as the Honda CG125 Deluxe or SE, but with the addition of a self-starter. Honda’s CB125F is a unique design in terms of styling, but in terms of the wao factor, Honda fell short, in my opinion. The motorcycle is currently available for purchase for 227,900 rupees, and it is suffering primarily as a result of the higher sales of the CG125 Classic variant.
Despite the fact that there is a 10,000 rupee price difference between the two motorcycles, customers are frequently perplexed by the choice between the two. However, while the Yamaha YB125Z DX may have an old-school and macho appearance, it far outperforms the Honda CB125F in terms of ride quality and suspension. The Honda CB125F is all about the mid-range and Honda rigidity, but today’s consumer wants a motorcycle that can do everything and is therefore more versatile.
When it comes to versatility, the Yamaha YB125Z DX far outperforms the Honda CB125F in every way. Yamaha’s CB125F is significantly superior in terms of comfort, ease of maintenance, and availability of replacement parts. This may seem strange, but the Honda Motorcycles CB150F and CB125F are constantly plagued by problems with parts availability and mechanics in the market; in addition, their parts are significantly more expensive than those of Yamaha.
With all things considered, it is safe to say that the Yamaha YB125Z DX is a much safer and better option to consider when compared to the Honda CB125F. Rest of the time, you can express your thoughts in the comments section!
