Pakistan’s plug-in hybrid SUV market is getting more interesting with the unveiling of the Haval H6 GT PHEV. The new model brings a much sportier design, significantly higher performance and a larger battery compared with the regular H6 PHEV.
The H6 GT PHEV has been introduced in Pakistan by Sazgar Engineering Works, Haval’s local partner. While the vehicle has been unveiled, its official price and booking details have yet to be announced.
A Performance-Focused H6
The Haval H6 GT PHEV is not simply a cosmetic version of the regular H6. It has been designed as a sportier and more performance-oriented SUV.
Its coupe-inspired roofline, aggressive front and rear styling, sporty details and red brake calipers give it a completely different character from the standard H6.

That is a significant improvement over the regular H6 PHEV, which uses a smaller battery and offers a shorter electric range.
For Pakistani consumers, this could be particularly useful. Someone with access to home or workplace charging could potentially complete most daily urban commuting without using the petrol engine.

The H6 GT gets a noticeably sportier exterior compared with the standard H6.
Its sloping roofline gives the SUV a coupe-like appearance, while the aggressive bumpers, black exterior elements, GT badging and red brake calipers add to its performance-oriented personality.
However, the coupe-style roof does come with a potential compromise.

Advanced driver-assistance systems are also expected to play an important role, with features such as adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assistance, automatic emergency braking and a 360-degree camera available on the model.

How Much Will the Haval H6 GT Cost in Pakistan?
This is probably the biggest question surrounding the new SUV.
Haval has not officially announced the Pakistan price of the H6 GT PHEV yet.
The regular H6 PHEV was introduced in Pakistan at around Rs. 12.895 million ex-factory. Given the GT’s larger battery, considerably higher power output and sportier positioning, the H6 GT PHEV is expected to sit above the regular H6 PHEV in terms of pricing.
However, until the official price is announced, any specific figure would only be speculation.
Can the H6 GT PHEV Succeed in Pakistan?
The formula certainly looks promising.
