At the Pakistan Auto Parts Show (PAPS) 2025, Yousaf Deewan Company unveiled the Sinogold E400, an electric sedan that could soon join Punjab e-Taxi project. The car is expected to work alongside the Honri VE 2.0 and help boost the province’s green transport efforts.
The E400 is made for city rides and taxi services. While the brand is new in Pakistan, the model isn’t without experience. Through a partnership with Chinese automaker Chery, it is already sold in Iran and Kazakhstan as the Tangoo 05.
Officials at the event highlighted its fleet friendly features. The car runs on a 48.1 kWh LFP battery with a claimed 344 km range. Its 127 hp motor produces 210 Nm of torque, enough for daily city driving. DC fast charging allows the battery to reach 80% in about 30 minutes, making it suitable for busy taxi operations.
The cabin is roomy thanks to a 2670 mm wheelbase. Comfort is covered with artificial leather seats and an Android infotainment system. Safety features include traction and stability control, ISOFIX mounts, parking sensors, and 2 airbags. Convenience touches like keyless entry, TPMS, and a tire repair kit make it practical for fleet operators.
Pricing in Pakistan has not been announced yet. The showcase at Pakistan Auto Parts Show PAPS 2025 focused on introducing the car to the public and showing its potential for the local taxi industry.
