Government reduces registration charges
Government of Pakistan has presented a new budget for fiscal year 2021-2022 a couple of weeks back. In the budget summary government not only reduced many taxes related to production of below 150cc motorcycles, they have also reduced the registration charges of different motorcycles as per their engine capacity.
The new registration charges will be as under.
70cc 1000 rupees
100cc 1500 rupees
125cc 2000 rupees
150cc 2500 rupees
These prices will be applicable once the budget summary is approved and implemented after 3 months hopefully.
The registration tax relief will encourage more people to buy and register their two wheelers.
